  The default interval, maximum grant lifetime, and per-request authorization remain unchanged.
  The interval cannot exceed half the lifetime, keeping newly issued URLs usable for at least
  half their maximum lifetime. Viewer remains alpha.

Release verification complete:

• Changesets published @transloadit/viewer@0.0.5 at 2026-09-29 20:06:27 UTC; npm alpha points to 0.0.5. The pre-existing latest tag remains 0.0.1.
• The package description identifies this as Alpha, and the GitHub release is explicitly a prerelease.
• Main CI and publication are green. The Edge fixture needed one unchanged-head retry after a public ECR download limit before tests; no gate was skipped or weakened.
• Published tarball integrity and installed package bytes were verified before the Convex consumer pinned 0.0.5.
• Reuse private CDN signing windows for 150 s in the wedding demo convex#38 is merged and live. An independent five-minute production proof passed: 150-second rotation, unchanged five-minute maximum lifetime, per-request authorization, logout denial, real CDN HIT, and expiry enforcement on the exact warmed URL.

No API2 changes, broader Storage activation, or Convex package release were part of this Viewer release.
