The bump includes:

  • many commits not by us, that were analyzed in ZENKO-5347 and shouldn't impact us
  • recent commits by us, to reduce CTST flakiness and some actual issues esp with inflights

Bump scuba to 1.1.24

Zenko pinned 1.1.0-preview.9. The assessment found nothing in the range
that breaks a contract we depend on: the OpenAPI specs are unchanged, the
three variables the operator sets all still exist, and the ingest and
downsample paths that saw the larger changes are not run here, since we
deploy scuba as a query server only.

1.1.24 also carries the inflight fixes that were outstanding when the
assessment was written: the cache is now flushed when the query server
shuts down instead of being dropped, the flush timer no longer starts a
second flush over a running one, the restore path reports pending bytes
against the resolved document id, and quota answers count deltas that the
flush has not written yet.

One behaviour change to watch, from earlier in the range rather than from
these fixes: retries are disabled for the MongoDB backend, so transient
errors now reach callers instead of being absorbed.
