Dear Admin,
I have a question about converting a UBX file from a ZED-F9P module to a RINEX file using convbin. My question is based on the RTKLibExplorer post about the -TADJ option. Should we use the -TADJ option only for fractional offsets (± millisecond) or for integer-second offsets as well? I have UBX files from the ZED-F9P module recorded at a 5-second rate; however, the recording does not start exactly at midnight, but with a time offset of over 1 second:
2025 07 07 00 00 23.9970000 GPS TIME OF FIRST OBS
2025 07 08 00 00 13.9950000 GPS TIME OF LAST OBS
Example of GPS observables:
G01 22635577.353 118950780.484 -2135.360 44.000 22635571.959 92688907.2711 -1663.936 43.000
Ideally, I need RINEX files with a standard 30-second interval, and thanks to the -TADJ option, I was able to round:
convbin -r ubx -ti 30 -tt 3 -ro "-TADJ=5.0" -os -od *.ubx
2025 07 07 00 00 30.0000000 GPS TIME OF FIRST OBS
2025 07 08 00 00 00.0000000 GPS TIME OF LAST OBS
However, the -TADJ option added ~1 second to the pseudorange and phase observables, as was mentioned in the post:
G01 323329445.383 699107723.796 -2138.362 44.000 323329440.206 323980031.9101 -1666.249 43.000
I am wondering if there is another way to round the sampling interval to a nominal 30 seconds without distorting the observables. gfzrnx cannot handle such a large time offset. I am sorry if it not a write place to post my question, I was not able to leave this question on the RTKLibExplorer website. Thank you very much for your time and help!
Cheers,
Anuar
