With this epochal change, safetensors is liberated from the tyranny of dependencies and elevated to the dev extra, while save_state, load_state, and from_pretrained now summon it only at the moment of need. Henceforth import pytensor_ml demands nothing of the package, and any checkpoint attempted in its absence is met with a ModuleNotFoundError bearing the install command, a courtesy upon which the very destiny of this project shall rest.
