Absolute Johannes factotum
- SCP-3637 (?)
- SCP-3637 was originally a fossilized dinosaur skeleton that would cause a temporary, living dinosaur made of salt to form and wander around whenever a thunderstorm passed over it. This salt dinosaur, called SCP-3637-1, would eventually dissolve in rain, and a new one wouldn't appear until the previous one was gone. However, after a nearby nest of fossilized dinosaur eggs was discovered, SCP-3637-1 grew larger, broke containment, and went to the nest, where it gently interacted with the eggs before dissolving permanently. Because of this event, SCP-3637 is now considered harmless and has been moved to a museum.
- Juan Pujol García (?)
- The article is about Juan Pujol García, a Spanish spy who became a double agent for the United Kingdom against Nazi Germany during World War II. He was codenamed "Garbo" by the British and "Alaric" by the Germans. Pujol, disillusioned by both fascism and communism after the Spanish Civil War, initially tried to work for the British but was rejected. Undeterred, he created a false identity as a pro-Nazi official and successfully became a German agent, but instead of going to Britain, he moved to Lisbon and fabricated elaborate reports about Britain using public information. He invented a network of 27 fictitious sub-agents, which the Germans believed and even funded. His most significant contribution was in Operation Fortitude, a deception campaign that convinced the Germans the D-Day invasion would occur at Pas de Calais, leading them to keep vital forces away from Normandy. For his extraordinary deception, Pujol uniquely received military decorations from both sides: the Iron Cross from Germany and an MBE from Britain. After the war, he faked his death and lived anonymously in Venezuela, his story only coming to light decades later.
