Make this new behaviour opt-in (with True as the default)? What if users don't want to accidentally decode more constrained types into broader Haskell types? Answer: no. Feels completely overkill. If a user requests such behaviour, I'll think it through. Users can still have their own newtypes that decode domain types, and there's a lot of value from that as it is.

Ideally we'd test arrays of domain types of every type.. but feels overkill

Check base type in every field decoder
