Hi, I'm Daniel Carneiro 👋

I build AI agents that run in production, and the guardrails that keep them honest.

  • 🦀 OpenCrabs: core maintainer of the open-source Rust AI agent (TUI, CLI, daemon, chat channels).
  • 📐 prumo-pack: Prumo, an engineering standard for AI agents. A gate whose pass token the model produces is not a gate: checks are mechanical, enforced at runtime, and never call an LLM.
  • 🧾 lastro: signed receipts for AI and CI work. Every claim an agent makes should have backing.
  • 🧠 Small models: LoRA fine-tuning of Qwen3 on Apple Silicon (MLX), grammar-constrained decoding for on-device use.
  • 🛰️ Multi-model agents: running Qwen, GLM and DeepSeek behind Anthropic-compatible tooling, measured with reproducible benchmarks.

Before AI: years of Flutter and front-end work, a few of those packages are still pinned below.
