The font style, font weight, and image fit dropdowns listed the raw setting values (SemiBold, UniformToFill). Each option now has a display name in the UI language, and the settings file stores the same values as before.

  • Image fit also reads better in English: None, Fill, Uniform, and UniformToFill are now Original size, Stretch, Fit, and Fill, matching Windows' wallpaper options
  • East Asian fonts showed up twice in the font list on Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Windows (Microsoft YaHei and 微软雅黑); they're listed once, and a localized name saved by an older version switches to the English name so it stays selected

The font style, font weight, and image fit dropdowns listed the raw setting values (SemiBold, UniformToFill). Each option now has a display name in the UI language, and the settings file still stores the same values, so existing settings keep working.

Image fit also reads better in English: None, Fill, Uniform, and UniformToFill are now Original size, Stretch, Fit, and Fill, matching the names Windows uses for wallpaper.
From the translation review: the heaviest font weights in Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Turkish used the word for the color black, and are now typographic terms; Vietnamese weights read as a clear thin-to-thick scale; Japanese "oblique" is no longer 斜体, which Word uses for italic; Traditional Chinese "Fit" uses Windows' 最適大小; Ukrainian "Stretch" is a noun like the other options. The font style description's translator note now points at the option names.
The font list merges WPF's fonts, named in English, with System.Drawing's, which also finds per-user fonts but names them in the display language. On Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Windows every East Asian font appeared twice, such as Microsoft YaHei and 微软雅黑. Both now use the English name, so the duplicates merge; English Windows lists the same fonts as before.
They used Windows' wallpaper wording about fitting a "page" (ページに合わせる, ページ幅に合わせる), which doesn't exist for a clock background. They now say what happens to the image: 元のサイズで表示 / 引き伸ばして表示 / 全体を表示 / トリミングして表示 (original size, stretched, whole image, cropped).
Older versions listed East Asian fonts under their localized names too, so someone on Chinese, Japanese, or Korean Windows may have 微软雅黑 saved, which the font list no longer has; the dropdown would show blank. The saved name now switches to the same font's English name (Microsoft YaHei), so it stays selected and the clock looks the same.
