Invisible submissions stuck on scoreboard unevaluated

We have run into an issue on our competition where there are submissions that exist only on the scoreboard and not in the submissions record.

Looking at places 12 and 13 on the scoreboard, there are two submissions which appear only there. We believe this may be caused by their queue having changed at around the same time as their submission- we can also see that they have not been scored, and the scoring computer has no record of these submissions. We would ideally like to delete these submissions from the leaderboard (participants have been contacted to resubmit if they wish- have one of their submissions been spent on this?), but this would usually be done from the submissions record, from which they are absent.

This is normal. It seems you are using the Participant Routing feature. If you add a user to multiple groups, their submissions will create a child for each group they are in. The table at the end of the documentation explains multiple scenarios : https://docs.codabench.org/latest/Organizers/Benchmark_Creation/Participant-Routing/#routing-scenarios

In your case, it seems like you have 2 different groups (Admin and Individuals) and you have added lazar and ibel5789 to both of those groups.

Thanks @ObadaS , this makes sense. The current bug would therefore be that these submissions don't appear properly in the submissions record, and thus can't be removed by organizers using the UI if/when appropriate. The UI Enhancement proposal from @IdirLISN looks like the sensible treatment.
