- `tocode mcp`: a stdio MCP server (standard library) that keeps decompiler sessions alive, one spawned worker per binary or database (timeouts, crash recovery, session cap, idle close). Tools: queries (decompile, disassemble, xrefs, strings, types, bytes, search, ...), edits (rename, set_type, declare_types, rename_local, set_local_type, set_comment, define_function, undefine), eval inside the database, save, export, and sync. - `sync` updates an export from its database like an incremental rebuild: it diffs the inventory, re-renders changed functions, callers of renamed or retyped ones, and users of changed types and globals, places new functions next to their callers, and rewrites only files whose content changed. Exports now keep per-function renders and a layout manifest for it. Also `tocode sync <export> [--full]`. - Folder exports: one server, a session per binary opened on demand; sync refreshes the folder's links. IDA and Binary Ninja change hooks track edits made by eval scripts. - The ToCode skill ships with the package (`tocode skill install` for Claude Code and Codex); `tocode mcp --install/--config` registers the server. - eval/: blind source-recovery benchmark (a headless agent with only ToCode recovers a stripped program's source; a judge scores names, prototypes, types, behaviour, and leakage from evidence). - `tocode mcp` opens .NET exports, assemblies, bundles and packages (worker.open_session picks DotnetLiveSession): methods, C#/IL, xrefs, strings, types, eval over the dnlib modules, with targets as `Assembly!0x06000012`, `Namespace.Type` or `Namespace.Type::Member`. - Edits: rename types, methods, fields, properties, events and parameters, rename_local, set_comment, and rename_many (native too; a batch resolves all targets first). The database is an edit log in the export, replayed on open; renamed assemblies are written to `patched/` (tokens preserved, old names not kept). Edits update only the affected records and index entries; patched copies are written when a query decompiles; the inventory reloads once per sync. - sync rewrites only the types an edit touched (a renamed type's file moves) and the documents; `tocode sync` works on .NET exports; folder exports with .NET binaries work through folder sessions. - dotnet.py: type_texts/assign_type_ranges factored out of _store_result. - Skill, AGENTS.md and generated .NET AGENTS.md cover .NET. README: Using and Live analysis moved up as top-level sections; the .NET, APK and Folders sections fold everything after their first paragraph. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
