Browsers and Custom Blocklists

Where do I go to add a custom blocklist?

Support for that is mentioned in the README but there is no guide for it. I went exploring in the settings and found something called hosts but that does not seem to be it because no matter which blocklist I tried, there was no indication anything was enabled and ads and other annoyances the blocklists were designed to block continued to show in the browser.

Where specifically though? I checked Adavanced options and there is nothing labeled filter or blocklist. There is a Secure DNS but no related option to put in a blocklist url, then there are 4 things labeled host which is rather Windows language. One of the hosts things does have a place to input an url but it does nothing, ads and other annoyances continue to show in browsers on the device.
