The pre-built VM image generates unique secrets and identifiers on first boot (root password, SSH host keys, machine ID, WireGuard keys, Redis passwords). Reusing a booted disk as a template for other VMs would duplicate these values across instances. Assisted-by: Claude:claude-sonnet-5
