Xbox One + Series controllers #5

Can you update this to include the Xbox one and Series controllers (as it currently doesn't work with them)?
Driver endpoint that used for this purpose is no longer exists.
If someone do have a solution for sure I'll accept code changes and build an update.
As for the moment I don't know how to handle this on Xbox one and Series controllers.Reacted by robbely, Benji and AleksandrHi! I've been struggling with this too. In 2024 Microsoft released GIP docs which I've been obsessing over the last few months. I've been lucky to get in touch with one of the Ubisoft game devs as well as gip documentation support. Everyone was very helpful but I feel I am in way over my head here. I would appreciate any help. I am doing this for a pet project but it keeps me up at night.
I have a stack post where I have everything I've managed to achieve.
And here is the reply from gipdocs support:there are 4 different ways this task can be accomplished. 1. Use the D4XDevice SDK, This requires Non Disclosure Agreement between Microsoft and your Corporation. 2. Reverse engineer the ioctl (but we aware it may break in the future because its not a public API). You will be calling DeviceIOControl API with the IOCTL code that results in device power-off. 3. Reverse engineer the COM PowerOff API (but we aware it may break in the future because its not a public API). Here you would be figuring out the COM Class GUID value. 4. Uninstalling the Microsoft implementation of the protocol in the “xboxgip.sys” driver and replacing it with your own usb driver that implements the protocol in device manager. Methods 2 and 3 are essentially unsupported by Microsoft. Hope this helps.Hi, thanks. I have some idea, but I don't have any Xbox controllers anymore to try.
I think maybe if the app disables the Xbox controller device and enables it again, it will turns off automatically.
Someone please confirm that if you disable and re-enable it via Device Manager, does it turn off the controller?Hi, thanks. I have some idea, but I don't have any Xbox controllers anymore to try. I use an Xbox Wireless dongle to connect the controller. I just tried to disable both the controller and the dongle in Device Manager. No, the controller doesn't power off. If I disable the controller the OS just ask to reboot but the controller is still connected and if I disable the dongle the controller just starts blinking trying to reconnect.
I run Windows 10.
FYI. There are other controllers that work over GIP. 8BitDo controllers, for example.
