💡 Overview

The dogfood iOS build fails on CI since #2466: FoldRegionObserver.swift uses the iOS 27.1 hinge APIs (UIHinge, UIHingeInteraction), which the iOS 26.1 SDK in Xcode 26.1.1 does not have. Build the app on the xcode-27 runner with Xcode 27.1, the toolchain the app is developed with. The deploy job only uploads the built ipa and is unchanged.

📝 Implementation notes

Two lines in react-native-workflow.yml, build_ios job only. The xcode-27 image is a GitHub preview label, so queue times may vary.

Runner: https://github.com/actions/runner-images/blob/main/images/macos/xcode-27-arm64-Readme.md
