Feature Request: Completely hide and mute notifications from archived conversations

Feature Request: Completely hide notifications from archived conversations

It would be great to have an option to completely disable notifications for archived conversations.

When an archived conversation receives a new SMS:

• No notification should appear at the top of the screen.
• No notification sound or vibration should occur.
• No notification should appear in the notification panel.
• The SMS should still be received normally and remain in the Archived section.

In other words, archived conversations should work completely in the background, so I won't know that a new SMS arrived unless I manually open the Archived section and check it.

This would be especially useful for promotional SMS that I don't want to block or delete, but also don't want to be notified about.

Why do you want this feature?

I archive promotional SMS conversations, but when new messages arrive, I still receive notifications, sounds, and vibrations. I don't want to block or delete these messages; I simply want them stored silently in the Archived section so I can check them manually when needed.
