A local-first outliner.
A couple of years ago I watched my favorite note-taking app get worse and worse, so I decided to rebuild it on a stack of really nice technologies. seqno looks and feels like Logseq and opens your Logseq graphs. The goal is to keep it as minimal as possible while making it as solid and clean as I can.

Every edit goes into a Loro CRDT log, built so devices merge without conflicts. SQLite runs in a worker as a fast index you can always rebuild.
Built with TypeScript 7, Effect 4, Loro, SQLite, React 19, CodeMirror 6 and Vite 8.
More in architecture, decisions and roadmap.
Early. The web app runs in Chrome and Edge. Hardening comes next, then iOS and desktop. It's not ready for your real notes yet.
Open seqno.vercel.app/app in Chrome or Edge. The Getting started tour opens, and everything you type stays in your browser. A second demo graph, a developer's notes, is in the graph menu at the top of the left sidebar.
To run it yourself, with Node 24 and pnpm:
pnpm install
pnpm --filter @seqno/web devThe hero on seqno's homepage is directly inspired by the opening screen of Buzz, Block's open-source app, and its cursor-shy bees by Wes Billman (block/buzz#1982).
