Just reproduced. If I don't make progress, note that the table file provided in MyrmBlock2.zip has a few formatting errors that need to be fixed.

So, I think this might be a case where a useful feature that usually deals with this is not in use. Please try with the game_settings table option $Thruster Easing Value: enabled and see if it persists. Using it eliminated the issue on my end.
