Installation of matplotlib-aipy3 fails

As the title says, the installation of matplotlib-aipy3-2.2.3 fails in qpython 3S (version 3.0.0). Matplotlib-aipy3 requires requires pyparsing-3.0.9 which requires Python >= 3.6.8 but the Python version included in qpython3 is only 3.6.6.
Is there any plans to bump the Python version soon?
Is there a workaround?

you can solve this without upgrading python version, first run this command pip3 install pyparsing==3.0.7 then install matplotlib from qpypi

Thanks for the hint. I installedI pyparsing==3.0.7 but I can't test the matplotlib installation at the moment because QPYPI is not working at the moment. If I launch QPYPI I get

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an unexpected internal server error

Hello! I am using QPython 3L v3.0.0 installed from Google Play. I'm afraid that I installed pyparsing==3.0.7 from the pip console, then attempted to install matplotlib-aipy3 from QPYPI, and it gave me the same error:
