Node.js 25 transitions into end-of-life on June 1, 2026, as noted also in versions.json.
No further releases of Node.js 25 are expected before its EOL date.
Node.js 26 is the Current version, effectively replacing Node.js 25.
Task
On or after June 1, 2026, remove related Node.js 25 elements, consisting of the:
Deleting these elements should cause a PR to be created which will then propagate to Docker Hub and remove Node.js 25 links from Supported tags and respective Dockerfile links. Existing images however are not deleted. The latest Node.js 25 release was 25.9.0 on 2026-04-01.
