Bug: large server count - getting frequent 'ip blocked because of many connection errors'

Describe the bug

I administer a lot of MySQL servers, increasingly I'm seeing the error 'ip blocked because of many connection errors'. Is there a way to turn of the 'check status' feature on the connections panel, so it doesn't try and poll all the databases?

Yesterday I imported another 64 connections and just about all of the servers required a 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' today before anything could happen.

There is a new settings in general:

Check server availability in the connection list. If you disable this, that will stop the app from pinging the server on that connection list. Please give this a try and see if that helps out.
