Won't Save When Default Save Format is .png

I've been testing this for a couple of weeks now, and I think I finally found the trigger for this issue. When I set the option as "PNG" under the Default save format dropdown box, there is never a pop-up box that allows me to save an image to a location. The pop-up box returns when I change the Default save format back to "No default (show submenu).

Using the PNG option, I have testing restarting my browser and ensuring both browser and extension are up to date.

Thanks for reporting this and for the detailed testing notes. I’m currently busy with some life events, so I won’t be able to
look into this right away, probably not for another couple of weeks.

If anyone wants to investigate and open a PR with a fix/change, I’d be happy to review it when I’m able.
