I believe the CNAME work for the LF/CNCF is a service desk ticket https://contribute.cncf.io/resources/project-services/faq/#how-do-i-file-a-ticket-with-the-service-desk, but someone should ask in the maintainers-circle channel on the CNCF Slack.
