Hello,
Thank you for developing and designing this application. I have a suggestion to improve the user experience.
Currently, to stop an activity, on the main page of the application, you have 2 choices:
- Clicking the tracked activity indicator at the top of the card list stops the activity.
- Clicking the corresponding activity card in the list also stops the activity.
In addition, if you want to track a different activity, clicking its card in the list starts tracking it immediately.
However, if you want to start tracking the same activity again without truly "stopping it" (for example, WORK Activity with a different tag or specification), you currently must stop the existing tracking first, and then start it again.
Feature request:
for example, Suppose there is an activity named WORK in the list of cards. if this activity which named WORK (with tag WORK-TAG1) is already being tracked, clicking the activity indicator at the top of the card list should continue to stop the tracking—exactly as it works today.
But if the user clicks the WORK card in the card list while WORK is already being tracked, the app should open the "select tag/comment/specification" half-page (as it does when starting a new activity) and restart WORK with the new details (for example, with tag WORK-TAG3, untagged or with new comment), without requiring the user to stop tracking first and start it again.
The goal is not to edit the tracking activity, the goal is to start another tracking from the current activity and from the current time with similar or new specifications.
If anything above is unclear, please let me know—I'm happy to provide a short walkthrough with examples.
thank you
