Currently, when the Display Name of a user is changed from the User Portal, the update is not propagated to the extensions associated with that user into FreePBX.
This can lead to inconsistent caller identification, directory entries, and phone display information, requiring administrators to manually update each extension.
Expected behavior:
- When the Display Name of a user is modified from the User Portal, the new value should be automatically propagated to all extensions associated with that user.
- The synchronization should happen immediately after the user is saved.
- All linked extensions should always remain consistent with the user's Display Name unless there is an explicit reason to support extension-specific overrides.
Benefits:
- Keeps user and extension information consistent.
